Curriculum

Choose an age band from 3-4 to 10-11. Each band is one year of a three-year Montessori cycle, and it holds the areas of the room — practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, culture, geometry, biology, geography and history — with the presentations of each area in the order they are given. Every presentation has its material, its steps, a way to check the work together and a cue for what to offer next. The child's readiness, not a birthday, decides the pace.

These home activities are inspired by the American Montessori Society early-childhood guidance and its elementary program description. They are not an accredited Montessori school or a replacement for a trained guide and prepared classroom.
